CLASS ONE: Employee Management and Program Defaults

To setup a property in VMS, there are several areas that are essential to making the system work properly. The options selected in the following areas will determine what VMS does for each property. Once these areas are set up, they are usually left as they are for the remainder of the time. But in some cases, the settings can be modified to better accommodate a particular situation.

Prerequisites:

Determine which employees need access to VMS and establish which areas they will need access to.

Prepare a list of property bank information, vendors, and chart of accounts.
