Registration

The Registration tab can be used to hold information specific to an account. Different types of registration information can be stored here on separate records within the account. It is up to your management company to determine which fields to use to better fit your associations' needs. Not all fields will be used depending on what information is available.

 

Before adding a registration record, the user must define the types of records they are going to store. Some examples are gate codes, car descriptions and licenses, boat descriptions and licenses, and even pet information. These different record types can be created by going to SETUP | Program Defaults | Codes | Program Area: Registration Type.

 

The Registration area is accessible through APPLICATIONS | Account Maintenance group | Account | <select an account> | Registration tab.

The fields in the Registration tab are defined as follows:

Key

Enter identifying characters for the key

Type

Select the type of registration information being tracked.

Number

Enter the vehicle tag number.

Task

Enter the task date.

Completed

Enter the completed task date.

Make

Enter the vehicle make.

Model

Enter the vehicle model.

License

Enter the vehicle license plate number.

Expired

Enter the registration expiration date.

Certificate #

Enter the certificate number.

Length

Enter the vehicle length.

Horse Power

Enter the horsepower of the vehicle.

Prop Type

Enter the vehicle prop type.

Reg. Class

Enter the registration class for the vehicle.

Registration

Enter the registration date.

Reg. Type

Enter the registration type.

Safety Insp

Enter the safety inspection date.

Inspection #

Enter the safety inspection number.

Ins. Expires

Enter the insurance expiration date.

File

Select the file to link to this record.

View

Click this icon to view the file that has been linked to this record.

Note

Enter any notes about the registration record.

Contact 1-5

Enter up to 5 contacts for this record.

Card #

Enter up to 5 card # linked to the contacts previously entered.

Reference 1

Enter the contact reference for each contact.

Reference 2

Enter a second contact reference for each contact.

 

As mentioned earlier, different types of registration information can be stored here on separate records within the account. One account can have multiple registration records that can be scrolled through by using the arrows at the bottom of the Registration tab.

 

Note

After entering the first Registration record, the navigation bar at the bottom of the Registration tab will be grayed out. You must click the refresh button, Refreshv148, located in the Quick Access Toolbar to save the data..

 

To get a new blank Registration record to appear, click the AccountMaintenanceRegistrationAddNewv148, as shown below, to open up a new record. The other arrows also allow you to scroll through the different records created on the account.
