Make a Prior Owner Active Again

Every now and again, a prior owner needs to be made active again. One particular situation where this may be needed is when a new owner is added to the wrong unit, which, in turn, made the real owner a prior owner. That prior owner can then be made active again.

 

How to make a prior owner active again:

 

1. In Account Maintenance, find and select the prior owner account that you want to make active again.

2. Under the Accounts tab, click the Switch To: Active button.

3. A Data Verification window will pop-up.

4. Select Yes to accept the change. The prior account will become active again.

 

Note

Any sub-accounts linked to the other account will be listed as a Prior account.
