This section describes the processes of the Commerce module for the selected property, which allows the property management company to sell items defined through Program Defaults/Items/Residents.  Items sold are added to orders which can be managed through the Commerce Module.

General Information
 

Field

Description

Credit Card Processor

Select a payment processor from the drop-down list defined in Setup/Program Control/Web/Commerce.

Local Folder

Enter the root folder that contains the property commerce documents.

 

 

Items

 

Commerce items defined in Program Defaults are added here to the property's website.

 

Field

Description

ID

Enter the item ID (defined in Setup/Program Defaults/Items Commerce and Resident).

Description

Enter the item description.

Category

Pre-defined category information (defined in Setup/Program Defaults/Codes Items Category).

Inactive

Select if item is inactive for use.

Retail

Enter the amount of retail charges to the buyer.

Shipping Cost

Enter any additional shipping cost for the item.

Document

Select a document to sell.

View

Select the View Viewicon_V1icon to view the document added to the website.

 

 

Shipping

 

Shipping information defined in Program Defaults are added here to the property's website, if applicable.

ID

Displays the shipping item ID (defined in.Setup/Program Defaults/Items/Shipping).

Description

Displays the shipping item description.

Category

Displays category information (defined in Setup/Program Defaults/Codes Items Category).

Shipping

Displays the shipping amount for the item selected.

Inactive

Select to make the shipping item inactive.

 

 

Tax

 

Tax rates defined in Program Defaults are added here to the property's website, if applicable.

Displays the Tax ID as defined in Setup/Program Defaults/Items/Tax Rates

Description

Displays the tax item description.

Category

Displays category information (defined in Setup/Program Defaults/Codes Items Category).

Shipping

Displays the shipping amount for the item selected.

Inactive

Select to make the shipping item inactive.

 

 

To add an item within the Web Commerce tab:

 

1. The user will right-click to access the system's speed menu, then select Add Item.

2. The user will be prompted with a pop-up window of items as defined in Setup/Program Defaults/Items.

3. To add an item, click and drag the from the pop-up window to the shipping area within all three tabs.
